Vandals had demolished dugouts at a local football club, Civil Service Strollers.
The brick built buyouts where installed just last year as part of a facilities improvement drive by the club.
Club secretary Keith Stewart said “Our groundsmen called me up earlier this week to tell me about it, I couldn’t believe it.
“We only had them built last year as part of our improvement plan for the club. No other damage wa caused just the dugouts were totally demolished.
“Its sickening that people would do that, like most clubs we don’t have lots of money so will need to try and rebuild them ourselves.”
