A man died after falling from a window in Leith yesterday morning.
The man fell from the window in North Fort Street just after 7am and died as a result of his injuries.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: “Police in Edinburgh responded to an address in North Fort Street at around 7.20am on Saturday 1st November after a male fell from a top floor window.
“The Scottish Ambulance Service were also in attendance and treated the male at the scene. However, he passed away as a result of the injuries he sustained.
“Enquiries into the full circumstances surrounding this incident are ongoing and anyone with information that can assist police with their investigation is asked to come forward.”
