Rachel Donaldson scored the only goal of the afternoon at Ainslie Park that gave Stirling Uni all three point’s against Spartans.
Both teams went in level at the half-time interval after a non-eventful first half.
Spartans started the stronger in the second half but Donaldson broke away and slotted the ball into the net late in the game.
Despite some good play by Spartans, they couldn’t find a leveler.
