Police are appealing for the help of the public to trace a 40-year-old man reported missing in from the local area.
Matthew Ritchie was last seen around 3pm on Wednesday in the Waterfront Park area of the city.
He is described as around 6ft 2ins, of slim build with dark brown hair. When last seen he was wearing a brown fleece with a zip, grey joggers with a black stripe and white trainers.
Inspector David Duthie said: “We want to trace Matthew as soon as possible and I would ask anyone who has seen him or knows where he is to get in touch.
“I am also asking Matthew to get in touch with police if he sees this appeal.”
Anyone who can help is asked not to approach Matthew but to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 3269 of 18 February, 2026.
