Detectives are appealing for information following an assault during a local kids football game at the weekend.
The incident is allege to have taken place on Sunday at the football pitches on Muirhouse Parkway during a Craigroyston Community Youth Football game.
Officers have asked for anyone who witnessed the incident to contact 101 and ask to speak to Gayfield CID or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
