Spartans went eight points clear at the top of League 2 yesterday with a 2-0 win over Dumbarton.
Bradley Whyte fired Dougie Samuel’s side ahead in the 38th minute when his shot from outside the box nestled into the bottom left corner.
The Ainslie Park side doubled their lead with a quarter of the game to go.
This time it was experienced striker Marc McNulty who tried his luck from distance and his shot flew past keeper Brett Long to seal the points.
