A couple have been detained in custody following a raid at a property on Granton Road last week.
Nikolaos Karvounakis,35, and Artemis Parissi,32, were remanded in custody following a short private appearance at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Thursday.
The pair entered no plea to the charges under the Terrorism Act 2000 and under the 1883 Explosive Substances Act.
The appeared in court following an alleged incident near Edinburgh Castle in 2018.
They are expected to appear in court again this week.
