Man charged as part of ongoing fraud investigation

A 44-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection to an ongoing fraud investigation in Leith.

North Edinburgh Community News understands the investigation has been ongoing for some time and the alleged fraud relates to a community project.

A spokesman for Police Scotland said “A report has been sent to the Procurator Fiscal and the male is expected to appear at court in due course.”
