A woman has been charged under the Dangerous Dogs Act after an elderly couple were attacked by a dog.
The 71-year-old man and 65-year-old woman were walking their own dog in north Edinburgh on Friday afternoon when they were injured.
The incident happened at about 4pm at the junction of Boswall Parkway, Grierson Road and Boswall Drive.
The couple were taken to hospital for treatment to injuries but were released later the same day.
Police Scotland said a 49-year-old woman would be reported to the procurator fiscal.
