Granton Road has been closed after huge ‘sinkhole’ appeared in the middle of the road yesterday afternoon.
It’s unknown how long the road will be closed for but Lothian Buses has confirmed the number 8 and the number 14 buses are affected.
They have said “Due to a road closure buses are unable to serve Granton Road and are instead diverted via Clark Road, Trinity Road, Lomond Road, Primrose Bank Road and Boswall Road north bound.
“City bound services are diverted via Boswall Road, Primrose Bank Road, Stirling Road, East Trinity Road and Clark Road until further notice.”
