Police seize fireworks and make arrests after raids

Police Scotland today said

“Following intelligence received regarding the illegal possession of firearms in the city, warrants were granted to search two addresses in Drylaw and Gracemount last night. £500 worth of fireworks was seized”

“Following numerous calls regarding youths setting off fireworks in the Restalrig area of the Leith, 7 arrests were made by officers from our Divisional Violence Reduction Unit”
